What's the story
behind Fairly?

Asenion was formed in June 2025 through the acquisition of anch.AI by Fairly AI—bringing together two leaders in AI governance with a shared mission: to make good AI universal.

We simplify the complex work of AI regulatory compliance by bridging compliance, technology, and business teams on a single, coherent platform. Asenion enables organizations to assess, manage, and mitigate risks across the entire AI lifecycle—empowering teams with the oversight and control needed to deploy AI responsibly, confidently, and at scale.

Together, Asenion’s founders bring more than 30 years of experience in ethical AI governance across academia and industry. Collectively, we have assessed over 300 enterprise AI models for ethical, legal, and regulatory risk.

‍Fairly AI is a Canadian firm recognized internationally for advancing AI governance through independent testing and assurance. It pioneered test agents for fairness, privacy, and security, and developed compliance-focused tooling aligned with the EU AI Act, NIST, ISO standards, and other global frameworks.

‍anch.AI, founded in Sweden, brings nearly a decade of methodology-driven expertise in assessing AI use cases and organizational risk. With the EU AI Act embedded in its DNA, anch.AI has partnered with leading public and private organizations across the Nordics to operationalize trustworthy AI.
