operational ai governance

Put every AI system and agent under control.

Asenion transforms regulatory and organizational intent into context-aware, machine-executable controls, then assesses, verifies and witnesses every model, copilot and agent against them, with audit-grade evidence.

The AI control gap

AI is already in production. Your controls aren't.

Models, copilots and autonomous agents are shipping faster than security and compliance teams can review them.

01 · Exposure

Agents with real permissions

AI agents call tools, move data and take actions in production systems. Most teams cannot show which control governed a given action.

02 · Complexity

Requirements outpace your team

The EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001, NIST AI RMF, OSFI E-23, state AI laws and your own policies apply at once, and each maps differently to each use case.

03 · Assurance

Auditors want evidence, not PDFs

Boards, regulators and customers now ask for proof that AI controls exist and work, not a policy document and a spreadsheet.

How it works

One control layer for every AI system and agent

Asenion ControlGenTM contextualizes the reusable control objectives and controls in Asenion Policy PacksTM for your use case, jurisdiction, risk profile and organizational intent, so every control applies consistently across the AI lifecycle. The same controls power Asenion AssessTM, Asenion VerifyTM and Asenion WitnessTM, connecting requirements to verification, runtime governance and evidence.

Context-aware controls

From policy to provable control

Asenion transforms heterogeneous compliance requirements into reusable control objectives, then contextualizes and operationalizes them into organization-specific controls that can be verified and evidenced.

Real-World ExampleS

Hiring AI in the U.S.

  • Requirement: Automated hiring tools must not discriminate, and employers must be able to defend their decisions under Title VII, the ADA and state laws.
  • Context: An AI system that screens job candidates in the U.S., including New York City and California.
  • Intent: Human review must remain meaningful before an employment decision, so every candidate is treated fairly and every decision can be defended.
  • Control objective: Ensure employment decisions are not made solely by automated AI output.
  • Control: Require documented human approval before rejecting a candidate.
  • Verification: Confirm a rejection cannot occur without human approval.
  • Evidence: Approval records, system logs and bias audit results.

Children’s English learning app

  • Requirement: Children’s privacy law such as COPPA requires verifiable parental consent before collecting personal information from children under 13.
  • Context: An AI conversation tutor in an English learning app used by children under 13.
  • Intent: Keep every lesson safe and age-appropriate, and never collect more about a child than learning needs, so parents can trust the app with their children.
  • Control objective: Ensure the tutor does not collect a child’s personal information without parental consent or produce content unsuitable for children.
  • Control: Block prompts for names, addresses, schools and photos; filter replies against an age-appropriate content policy; gate voice features behind parental consent.
  • Verification: Red-team the tutor with prompts that try to draw out personal details or unsafe content before every release.
  • Evidence: Consent records, filter logs and test results.

Bank customer support chatbot

  • Requirement: Banks must safeguard customer information and manage model risk, under rules such as GLBA and SR 26-2.
  • Context: A generative AI chatbot answering retail customers’ account questions online, connected to core banking data.
  • Intent: Resolve customer questions quickly without ever exposing account data or being talked into an unauthorized action, because customer trust and the bank’s regulatory standing depend on it.
  • Control objective: Ensure the chatbot cannot disclose account data to an unauthenticated user or be manipulated into actions outside its permissions.
  • Control: Require step-up authentication before account details, limit tool access to the signed-in customer’s records, and block prompt-injection attempts.
  • Verification: Run prompt-injection and data-leakage test suites before every release, and monitor live conversations at runtime.
  • Evidence: Authentication logs, test results and tamper-resistant runtime records.
Why it matters

More than policy-to-code

Context captures the circumstances a requirement applies in. Intent captures your organization’s purpose and desired outcome. That is why a generic, LLM-generated control is not necessarily the right control for your organization. Asenion Policy Packs normalize authoritative requirements into reusable control objectives and controls, and Asenion ControlGen contextualizes them for your use case, jurisdiction, risk profile, policies, business requirements, technical environment and organizational intent.

Different organizations can share the same control objective and still implement it differently, because their context and intent differ. One may require a human approval step, another a stricter technical restriction, a third a narrower set of permissions for the AI. Controls are then verified by Asenion Verify, enforced at runtime by Asenion Witness, and backed by evidence.

Control coverage you can see, verify and prove

One view of which controls apply to which AI system, whether they hold, and what to fix first.

Inventory and risk-tier every AI system

Models, copilots, vendor AI and agents in one register, each tiered against the rules that apply to it.

Verify before release

Tests for prompt injection, data leakage, bias, hallucination and unsafe actions, each result mapped to a control requirement.

Enforce policy on agents at runtime

Witness applies context-aware controls to agent actions in production and blocks, flags or allows them based on who is acting, on what data and for what purpose.

Hand auditors the evidence

Tamper-resistant records of which controls applied and whether they worked, ready for audit, regulators and the board.
